Nigeria Sprinter Okagbare has been suspended for doping just after she was due to run in the semi-finals.
An Immediate suspension was issued to Blessing Okagbare after she tested positive for human growth hormone in an out-of-competition test.
Just when Okagbare was due to run in the semifinal, the track and field’s anti-doping body received a letter canceling her from partaking in the Olympic game.
The doping regulation has a provision where she can request a “B” sample or backup sample to double-check the results.
