Sunday Dare Apologizes To the Disqualification Athletes

Nigeria Sports Minister has apologized to the Nigerian athlete that was disqualified from Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The Ministry has promised to look into the issues raised by the athletes and address them very quickly.

Dare on Thursday had a heart-to-heart conversation with the 10 disqualified track and field athlete and assured them of their welfare and also apologized for the unfortunate development that led to their disqualification.

Dr. Simon Ebhojiaye made the disqualified understand that the ministry is abreast to their notice that payment of various allowances commenced last week and it’s still ongoing.
